Who provides Days Until: Countdowns

Days Until: Countdowns is provided by the developer reachable at dean@myworkingmemory.ai. In this Policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to the developer of Days Until: Countdowns.

"Personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to a person or household.

"User content" means the countdown titles, notes, due dates, optional due times, categories, colors, order, completion status, and other content you create or manage in the app.

Information processed on your device

The app processes your countdown content locally on your device to provide the features you request. For example, the app processes due dates and the current time on your device to show time remaining, today, tomorrow, and overdue states.

This local processing does not mean we receive or store that information. We cannot access content that remains only on your device.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, receive, or store your countdown content unless you choose to send it to us or to a third party. We do not collect your countdown titles, notes, due dates, categories, colors, manual order, or completed items from the app.

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising or advertising measurement.

We do not use your app content to train machine learning or AI models, and we do not send your app content to third-party AI services.

Information you choose to provide

If you contact us for support, send feedback, submit a screenshot, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, message, device details, app version, screenshots, attachments, and any other information you include.

Please do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health information, financial information, legal documents, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request. Screenshots or attachments you send may contain personal information; review and obscure anything you do not want to share before sending it.

Paid app purchase

Days Until: Countdowns is sold as a paid App Store download. App Store purchases, billing, and refund requests are handled by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

We may receive limited purchase or transaction information from Apple as needed to provide support, prevent fraud, comply with law, and maintain business records. The app does not include in-app purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions.

Website and support-page information

When you visit our website or support pages, our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps to provide, secure, and maintain the website.

Our email and hosting providers may process support communications and technical data for the purpose of providing email, hosting, security, and related services.

Diagnostics

We do not use a third-party crash-reporting SDK in the app. If you choose to share diagnostics with Apple, we may receive limited crash or diagnostic information through Apple's developer tools, such as app version, device type, operating system version, crash time, and technical details about the crash. We use this information to diagnose and fix bugs.

System logs

The app writes technical error events for storage operations to iOS's unified logging system (OSLog). These entries do not contain the contents of your countdowns. iOS controls the retention of and access to unified logs on your device.

How we use information

We use information only for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:

• provide the app and operate requested features;
• respond to support requests and feedback;
• troubleshoot bugs and improve app reliability;
• maintain security and prevent misuse or fraud;
• comply with law, legal process, and App Store requirements; and
• protect our rights, users, and the app.

When information leaves your device

Your countdown content stays on your device unless you choose to send it elsewhere. For example, if you copy countdown information, take a screenshot, email support, or otherwise send app content to another person, app, service, or platform, that is your chosen action.

After you send content outside Days Until: Countdowns, that destination's terms and privacy practices apply. We do not control third-party apps, email providers, messaging services, people, platforms, or other destinations you choose to use.

Local storage, backups, and deletion

Countdown content stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, delete the app, or change your device or storage settings. Because we do not receive local-only content, we cannot access, recover, back up, or delete it for you.

Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in device backups or cloud backups controlled by you, Apple, or your device provider. We do not control your device backup settings.

Deleting the app, deleting local files, resetting your device, disabling backups, losing access to your device, or running out of storage may permanently delete content stored locally.

Retention

Local countdown content is retained on your device until you delete it, delete the app, or change your device or storage settings.

Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, maintain business records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect our rights. You may ask us to delete support communications, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

We may retain limited purchase, transaction, diagnostic, website, and business-record information where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Your choices

• You can delete individual countdowns in the app.
• You can delete completed countdowns in the Completed sheet.
• You can delete local app content by deleting Days Until: Countdowns from your device.
• Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled through Apple.
• You can contact us at dean@myworkingmemory.ai for privacy questions or requests.

We may need to verify your identity or request additional information before fulfilling certain privacy requests.

Permissions

The current version of Days Until: Countdowns does not request camera, photo-library, microphone, speech-recognition, location, contacts, health, or tracking permissions. The current version also does not require notification permission.

If a future version adds optional notifications or other permissions, the app should explain the purpose at the time you choose to use that feature, and you can manage device permissions in iOS Settings.

Children

Days Until: Countdowns is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete information. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled through Apple.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No method of electronic storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Legal disclosures and transfers

We may disclose information we maintain if we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of us, users, or others.

Because much of the app's content is stored only on your device, we may not have access to information requested by third parties, law enforcement, or users.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information we maintain may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a replacement policy disclosed to users.

International processing

If you contact us or use services that process information outside your country, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the controller of any personal information we maintain is the developer of Days Until: Countdowns, reachable at dean@myworkingmemory.ai. Our lawful bases for processing include performance of a contract (providing the app and responding to support requests), our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the app, and your consent where required. You may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability under applicable law; contact us to make a request.

Privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or control certain personal information. To make a privacy request, contact us at dean@myworkingmemory.ai and include the name of the app and the nature of your request.

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so we do not offer a separate opt-out for those practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we collect, use, or share personal information, we will provide notice as required by law and, where required, obtain your consent before applying the change.

Because the app's features and data practices may differ by version, please make sure you are reviewing the Privacy Policy that applies to the version of Days Until: Countdowns you use.
